Become an IRINN affiliate

Affiliation is open to all organisations and individuals in India.

Joining IRINN gives organisations access to all IRINN services, including requests for internet address resources and attendance at specialised training courses.

The application process

  1. Check that you are eligible. Confirm you can meet the criteria for the resources you need and that you can supply the supporting documentation.

  2. Gather your KYC documents. IRINN cannot process an application without complete Know Your Customer documentation.

  3. Complete the online application. Submit the affiliation form on the MyIRINN portal. You will need your upstream provider's ASN, contact number, email address and contact person's name.
  4. Send the signed agreement. Send copies of the IRINN Affiliation Agreement and your KYC documents to NIXI. The Affiliation Agreement must be printed on plain A4 paper.
  5. Receive your tracking number. After you submit the form, you receive an email with a tracking number confirming your application, along with a copy of the application itself.
  6. Pay the fees. The one-time affiliation application fee and annual resource fee are payable before resources are delegated.

You may maintain affiliation with both APNIC and IRINN, but may obtain resource services from only one source at a time.

If you currently receive resource services from APNIC and want IRINN to become that source, see the transfer procedure. IRINN does not levy a transfer charge for migration from APNIC.

Submitting an application does not guarantee a delegation. All requests must be fully supported by documentation justifying the need, because IP address space is a public resource.
